Wheelaroos and Universities to Show Rugby League is for Everyone

Australian Universities will take on the Australian Wheelchair RL team.

WORLD CHAMPIONS, Australian Universities will take on the Australian Wheelchair Rugby League team in an exhibition game to promote Rugby League as an inclusive sport.

The match will be played as part of the Return 2 Sport Expo at the State Sports Centre, Olympic Park on Thursday 10th October.

Media and members of the public are welcome to attend the event.
Both Australian teams competed in this year’s Festival of World Cups, staged in England.
The Australian Universities team finished in first place while the Australian Wheelchair team, in fourth.
During the World Cup, the two Australian teams attended matches in support of each other.
The Return 2 Sport expo is an event showcasing a wide range of sports for people with a disability.
