The Junior Dragons were thrilled to meet Happy Dragon, Michael Weyman and Jason Nightingale.

With the weeks leading into the school holidays it looked as though the Dragons Holiday Clinic weather would be better off suited to ducks. Then as if a sign from above – the rain clouds parted and the sun shone down on a very damp Kogarah Oval. The forever faithful Dragons fans that showed up on the day didn’t mind how wet the ground was as they were thrilled that Happy Dragon and several of the St George Illawarra players such as Michael Weyman and Jason Nightingale were on hand to sign autographs and participate in skills and games.

The children also had an opportunity for a Question and Answer session with the players, where they learnt how the Dragons train, what they eat, and how they made their way to play 1st Grade. Jason Nightingale mentioned that, “Everyday playing Rugby League is still fun and that’s why he loves the game.”

It looked as though all the participants took this message on board as they all left the park with massive smiles on their faces.
